A nice copy of this very early annual. The condition is classed as VERY GOOD, the board covers are nice and bright with shelf wear to the edges, the spine is full and complete with only an oval stain 2cm x 1.5cm over the word Rupert. There is foxing to the first 4 and last 2 pages and foxing to the page edges, the “belongs to “ box was filled in but has been erased and there is an inscription “from mummy 1940 “ inside the rear cover. The pages are nice and stiff and the binding tight and sound. A well looked after Rupert Annual that will complement any collection.

A really nice copy in GOOD+ condition. The soft covers are nice and bright with only very slight foxing, the corners are square with some wear the front cover is approximately 3mm short in width, perhaps a manufacturing problem and the bottom right of the front cover has a 3cm score that hasn’t gone all the way through the spine has been reinforced with book tape and can only be seen on close inspection. There is a name in the “belongs”to , the annual is not price clipped and the picture ompetitions on pages 2 and 119 have been part completed in crayon hence some transfer, some oxing to page edges. A really nice early annual to grace any collection.

A truly stunning copy in MINT- condition from the barely a hint of bumping on the pin sharp corners to the well defined spine beautifull example. Inside there is a charming and neat inscription in the belongs to box, not price clipped and every page clean, stiff and full of vibrant colour, none of the competitions are touched I would think that this annual was looked at once and put safely away. A ture prize for any collector.
