The first of the hard cover annuals after the deprivations of the war years. This year is particularly difficult to find let alone in good condition, this copy is in VERY GOOD+ condition with only minor shelf and spine wear. Internally there is an inscription in the “belongs to” box and is not price clipped and the puzzles on pages 2 and 119 are untouched. The colours are wonderful and I would recommend this annual to the most particular of collectors.

A VERY GOOD condition for this years annual. The cover has some bumping and wear to the spine and very minor wear to the boards although there is some foxing also which seems to be a common feature particular to this year. The internals are great totally untouched other than an inscription in the “belongs to” box and this time it is price clipped. All in all a really nice copy for any collector.

A great annual so very hard to find of this year in GOOD condition with shelf wear to the corners but still nice a square, the spine is complete but starting to separate with a split across the spine half way up, an attempt at some time to fold the annual has been made resulting in some ceasing to the front and rear cover but inside what a joy with only the neatest and smallest of writing in the belongs to circle and not price clipped, on the rear pastedown small area has been rubbed, about 1cm by 3cm but all of the pages are a joy to hold crisp, stiff and clean and vibrant with colour. Even with it’s faults a welcome addition to any collection.

An absolute gem of an annual in FINE + condition due to minor shelf wear to the front and rear cover corners and the top and tail of the spine, some age spots starting to show, well it is 58 years old. Inside there is no inscription in the “belongs to box and the price has not been clipped there is a presentation inscription on the ffp in beautiful neat handwriting that reads “ September 1955. This book presented to: Pauline as 1st prize for Nature Study. 30th St. Helens Brownie Pack” how really lovely on the same page a small area of abrasion 1.5cm x2 cm. The pages are stiff, clean, sound and bursting with colour. So rare to find one of this age in such wonderful condition and a real must for any collector.

An original 1953 annual in VERY GOOD condition with a small amount of bumping to the corners and some wear to the spine with minor splitting to the base of the spine. Inside there is a name in the “belongs to box” and the annual is not price clipped. The painting competition has been completed to a high standard but other than that the pages are bright, clean and sound. A nice one this.

So hard to find and very rare in FINE+ condition this annual has only the most minor wear to the still square corners the full and sound with very minor bumping and wear to the bottom, the top has some wear and a split but only 0.5 cm long but the covers are amazing, the annuals of this particular year seem to be very susceptible to foxing but NOT this one, the colours are pin sharp, clean and so bold just amazing. Inside there is a name in a childs hand “Joy White age 7” in the belongs to boxit has been price clipped with pinking scissors how nice. Every but every page is so clean, stiff, sound to the binding and just bursting with colour. This annual is 57 years old, the year of the coronation, Hilaries conquest of Everest and Bannisters first ever four minute mile, what seems a lifetime ago until you see how fresh this annual is, amazing.

Oh joy of joys this ultra rare annual in VERY GOOD+ condition with only the very slightest of wear to the still very square corners and the top and tail of the spine and a pin prick to the front cover. The first of the laminate covered annuals which proved to be a real problem with peeling and lifting so soon after the war years. Internally no inscription and not price clipped with the painting competition only part done to a good standard , the nice clean pages stiff and sound to the binding and so full of colour amust for any collector.

What a little gem this annual is. Rated as VERY GOOD- the laminate covers have only the very minor shelf wear to the corners and spine although there is some very faint shading to the top 12.5cm around the spine and a little on the front. There no inscriptions of any kind and is not price clipped. The painting competition is untouched but there is however some minor staining to the first three and last three pages at the bottom where the pages adjoin the spine, only5cm by 2cm could be a little damp. All of the pages are bright, clean sound. An impressive copy.

With coloured laminate boards this annual is in GOOD condition with bumping and wear to corners and wear exposing the under board to the top and tail of the spine. Inside there was a name written in pencil in the “belongs to” box that has been erased, not price clipped, the colouring competition has been completed in craon but all other competitions, puzzles and things to do are untouched. All in all though still a really nice copy of a very hard to find if not rare annual.

A truly stunning copy in MINT- condition from the barely a hint of bumping on the pin sharp corners to the well defined spine beautifull example. Again this copy is so good it is rated as FINE+ but only because it has been price clipped, why do people do this, and there is the very slightest of bumps to the top of the spine, otherwise it is a fabulous annual in fabulous condition really clean crisp and bright both inside and out. A must have.

A real little treasure in FINE condition with only minor bumping to the corners and to the top and tail of the spine a 1cm crack in the laminate to the top of the spine a couple of small creases on the back cover and a tiny indent on the back cover but still a great annual. Inside not inscribed and not price clipped the painting competition and Butterfly completed really well, the pages are clean, bright, full of colour and sound to the binding, a really nice annual to grace any collection.
