A cracking annual in VERY GOOD condition, the paper covers board covers are bright and full of colour, the corners square with the most minor of wear and bumping, the spine full and sound with again the smallest amount of wear and bumping, a really good looking annual. Internally there is an ownership inscription in pencil on the ffp “This book belongs to Miss Patricia Margaret Cotton, Castle Farm Garshall Green, Mitwich, Staffs xmas 1953” and in the belongs to box “M.P.Cotton” and on top right hand corner of page 1, a gift dedication “To Pat Cotton from Johnxxx”, not price clipped, the painting contest has been completed to a very good standard in pencil crayon. Every one of the so white and clean pages is sound to the binding and stiff to the touch. This annual must have been kept stored away from the light for many many years and is just lovely to behold.
